At 7 p.m. the big caozerie “Let’s talk about regional diapers!” and at 9 p.m. show “Storyteller? Storyteller!”. Ticket office at the Questembert Tourist Office. “La grande caozerie” Yannick Jaulin, storyteller, actor, singer and playwright from Vendée, was marked from childhood by the practice of “parlhange”, his mother tongue. He makes it one of his main sources of inspiration and takes sides with minority words and languages over dominant languages. Yannick Jaulin likes to cherish the genius of these spoken words, their inventiveness, their plasticity... For this talk, he will speak alongside Paul Molac, MP, Alexandrine Mignerot, sociolinguist, Elodie Jaffré, Breton-speaking singer, and Thierry Jolivet, community actor and Gallophone and British speaker. The actor Anthony Sérazin will ensure, with Plum' FM radio, that these exchanges run smoothly. Around a few questions that are both relevant and impertinent about Breton and Gallo, the speakers will come to nourish our thoughts with good humor. Putting colors on gray matter, such is the vocation of this Grande Caozerie! Show “Storyteller? Caonteur!” by Yannick Jaulin A priori, to the question “is storytelling a profession of the future?” », Yannick Jaulin himself expresses some doubts. Scion of a rural Vendée, witness to a world in the process of disappearing, he should never have survived in a hostile environment, with “parlhange” as his mother tongue, which he uses in his shows. In “Storyteller? Storyteller!”, he redraws the contours of this combat sport that is storytelling. A paradoxical art, which consists of inventing fictions to give meaning to reality. An oratory contest to bring down our inner walls using two tools, one's language and symbolic speech. This language, “useless” for the time, fundamental for the world, is also a way of making stories that could only remain in thought sound differently. For this evening, dedicated to regional languages, Yannick Jaulin will draw his material from his bag of oral archaeologist, from the exchanges produced during the “caozerie”, but also from the depths of his personal history. €12 per evening: talk + show (free for children under 10). Catering on site (food trucks) during the intermission. Full program of the Lune Rousse festival below.
