Jean-Marie Lions has devoted himself permanently since 1996 to the Trio de l'Instant, which became the Instant en Trio/Quatuor/Quintette, as well as to the Instant en Duo, the Paul Le Flem Trio/Quartet. He also performs with the Ensemble de l'Instant (an ensemble with variable geometry based on the members of the trio), mainly in oboe and string trio formation, or to perform concertos with chamber orchestra. He also created the Instant Violon & Orgue in 2013 with Roland Guyomarch. The latter is organist in the churches of Plougastel-Daouolas and Saint-Laurent in Brest, his curiosity and open-mindedness allow him to approach with equal pleasure music from the 16th to the 20th century with a predilection for Breton composers.
