The trail: From the Cross to the heart of the Bourboutes

This family-friendly digital treasure hunt takes you on a journey through the history of the relic that gave its name to the commune, and to meet its Bourboutes (volunteers). The trail, available free of charge on the Les Trésors du Morbihan app, invites you to explore the town’s rich heritage and secrets. Discover the architectural and cultural heritage, history, legends and anecdotes of this beautiful village in bloom. The main character is Patern, who speaks Breton and can see into the past and future through his stick. He is accompanied by Kristell, who loves everything to do with nature and flowers, and Adam, who helps with the religious explanations. During this 1 hour 35 minute tour, you’ll discover a warm, lively and colourful village where heritage, nature and creativity come together as the streets go by… and the riddles! Ready to explore La Vraie-Croix as you’ve never seen it before?

You can share this unusual experience with your family or friends, on your own, all year round, using your mobile phone. Once you’vedownloaded theapplication (free of charge) and selected your route, view your position on the map and work your way through the riddles. Once you’ve found all the answers, you can locate the treasure. This route is available all year round in French and English. There are many other routes, including the one in Rochefort-en-Terre and Molac. Golden rules

– Do not damage plants, walls, buildings or sites

– Place a personal item in the treasure

– Take an item from the treasure in exchange

– Leave a message in the notebook with your nickname, date, town and a short comment

– Put the treasure back in the exact place where you found it

– Let “Les trésors du Morbihan” know if you run into any difficulties on the way.
