The markets

Two markets punctuate the week in Questembert, on Monday morning and Wednesday evening.
You can also take advantage of the P’tit Marché de Berric on Friday late afternoon and that of Rochefort-en-Terre on Sunday morning, without forgetting the farmers’ market, at the farm, on Saturday morning in Malansac.
The market, it is one of the places of privileged meetings of the inhabitants and the holiday makers of the area. You will find a vast choice of local and regional products. Come and meet the shopkeepers and producers who will share with you their passion for their trade. Come and “taste” the friendly atmosphere that reigns there!

Stroll under the Halles

Markets of Questembert

A great regional market

Every Monday morning

Walk through the colorful stalls, smell the delicious scents of authentic products, stroll to meet local producers, buy pancakes, galettes, fish, fruits, vegetables, honey, cider … at the market of Questembert, in the heart of an exceptional site: the Halles couvertes.

These superb Halles with wooden frameworks from the 16th century, located in the heart of the city, are classified Historical Monument.

In the past, drapers, tailors, shoemakers, and farmers met there to sell their goods, which constituted the essential activity of the fairs of yesteryear. Nowadays, the Halles, a real showcase restored in 1997, host a large regional market.

Information on the Halles

Every Monday morning from 8am to 1pm, the Halles and the alleys of Questembert are teeming with life. We cross paths, we chat and we fill up on fresh and local products before joining friends at the terrace of a café. The good life!
