The principle is simple. Count the birds that visit your garden, balcony, or the public park of your choice for one hour. This data, collected during this citizen science project, allows scientists to learn more about the birds that visit gardens during the winter. How to participate? This project is open to everyone. The principle is simple: choose an observation location (a garden, park, balcony, etc.) and a day: the suggested Saturday or Sunday. Observe all the birds you see in that location for one hour and record your observations in the table on the leaflet provided by Bretagne Vivante (counting sheet to download below) or by entering them online (link by clicking the "book" button on this page). Important! For each species, only record the maximum number of birds observed at one time. If you see 3 blue tits, then 2, then 4, you will record 4 blue tits, not 9 (not 3 + 2 + 4). If the birds cannot be identified, do not record them in the table! We're counting on you! Will you join us?
