"The Tears of Beltane" is the brand new storytelling concert from Trio Sünkyan. It features songs and legends celebrating spring at its peak around the world. It tells of tears that transform into flowers, of water and fire that bring transformation, renewal, sensuality, and fertility, culminating in a grand circle around the Maypole! This poetic and musical journey, beginning in Celtic lands, takes us to Spain and Portugal, to the northern lands for the "Night of the Witches," to Lebanon and Iran, to Eastern Europe with Sabantuy and Hidrellez, and even to New Zealand to celebrate "Tane Mahuta," one of the oldest trees in the world, through music.
