Hailing from Southern Brittany, PALOMA NEGRA was formed in 2014 when Barbara (vocals) and Victor (flamenco guitar) met. Having always been immersed in Mexican music and flamenco, they were later joined by new collaborators. These five musicians journey together through world music, jazz, and popular music. The name “PALOMA NEGRA” (the black dove) was chosen as a tribute to the traditional Mexican song that evokes the sorrows and passions of love. New album, “Fuegos”.
