Sevendoc Films presents "Arthur Cravan, A Life Lived to the Fullest," a film by Rémy Ricordeau, 2025, 95 min. A legendary figure of defiance against all forms of conformity, the poet-boxer Arthur Cravan contributed to the early 20th century by shattering the social, poetic, and aesthetic conventions of his time. Described by André Breton as "raw genius," Cravan recounts in this film the adventures and passions that punctuated his life. An iconoclast by principle as much as by inclination, he takes the opportunity to offer an unflinching retrospective look at the poetic uprising in which he played a part. By refusing to separate life from its emotional expression, his "dazzling journey" inspired most of the artistic and political avant-gardes of the last century.
