"Mosaïque, les bases : de la théorie à la pratique"

Discover the secrets of mosaic art, from theory to practice. Take some time to (re)discover the tools, materials, and techniques of mosaic: choosing supports, types of adhesives, cutting and assembly methods… A summary document will be provided at the end. After this initial theoretical introduction, it's time for practical application by creating a frieze on mesh (Roman, Art Deco, or free-form – templates provided), to experiment with the material, refine your technique, and enrich your creative approach. Fabienne Le Pajolec will bring all the necessary materials and tools for this workshop. However, those who already have their own mosaic tools are welcome to bring them (if they wish) so that we can check together whether they are suitable for mosaic work. A few words about Fabienne Le Pajolec: After professional training as a contemporary art mosaicist, Fabienne Le Pajolec settled in Séné (56). She creates contemporary wall art, breaking with traditional decorative mosaics and inviting a constantly evolving visual experience. In addition to her artistic practice, Fabienne shares her passion through classes, workshops, and intensive courses. Target audience/Prerequisites: 16 years and older, adults; open to all, beginners or curious practitioners, to deepen or broaden their approach to mosaics. Minimum/maximum number of participants: 4/8. Workshop fee for "Theoretical Foundations": €60 for members; €66 for non-members for the 3-hour workshop; all-inclusive. A 50% deposit is required upon booking. This deposit will be retained if the participant cancels less than 3 business days before the workshop (unless a replacement is found) and refunded if the workshop is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
