The Castle is organized around a courtyard of honor including parts built one at the latest in the 15th century, another in the 16th century, then another in the 17th century and finally one in the 19th century.
Visiting the exterior (pathways and lawns) is free (without a guide). Visitors are given: - a history of the inhabitants of the Château de LA GRATIONNAYE and the capture of Rochefort-en-Terre by the chouans on March 16, 1793 - a detailed plan on which there are explanations corresponding to these various buildings such as the pavilion guard. Guided tours of the interior of the chapel and the dovecote can also be done with the owner of the premises.
