Alban and Sarah, trained in Michelin-starred restaurants, welcome you to La Maison Cachée. It's in the cobbled streets, at the corner of the half-timbered houses, that the outlines of this hidden gem take shape. An intimate restaurant, meticulously maintained with a warm welcome, within a beautiful timber-framed building dating back to 1478. Nestled in one of France's favorite villages, Rochefort-en-Terre. An adventure that has spanned time, this establishment, which has been a crêperie, a home, a café, a bar, and a cabinet of curiosities, has now become a committed bistronomic restaurant with an open kitchen at the heart of the dining room. A kitchen in complete transparency, within easy reach, at the corner of the stove, like an invitation to home. An address where you'll find a constantly evolving menu, changing with the arrivals, harvests, foraging, hunting, and fishing, with a rigorous selection of what is beautiful and delicious each day at the market. Attentive, original, and gourmet cuisine thanks to our local partners, with a focus on a coherent and responsible selection of our products, which are primarily organic, ethical, and sustainably sourced. The wine list follows the same philosophy, showcasing biodynamic and natural wines, as well as wineries that produce exceptional work throughout our regions. A timeless experience where you can simply savor the moment! Chef Alban Chartron honed his skills, among others, with Davy Tissot at Villa Florentine in Lyon and Alain Ducasse at Louis XV in Monaco. Meanwhile, Sarah Alba, at 24, began her journey of discovery in the temples of gastronomic excellence. A tireless worker, the young woman reached the three-Michelin-starred Parisian restaurant L'Épicure, where she works as a chef de partie. Tiny table & ultra-local cuisine. GAULT & MILLAU: 2 toques. Restaurant awarded a Bib Gourmand (this distinction recognizes establishments offering excellent value for money). Featured in the following guides: - Gault & Millau guide #109 - Fooding "Genre Tables" - "Pur Beurre," the guide to good food in Brittany! Reservations strongly recommended. Pets allowed on the terrace only. No access for people with reduced mobility and space too narrow to accommodate a stroller.
