She diversifies the techniques to widen the field of possibilities: drawing, ceramics and embroidery are for her a way of questioning and varying her answers to the same question: what is the living? Creation is for her a daily act, a vital pulsation. From 2010 to 2018, she produced the “every day” series, a set of 3285 daily drawings. Creation is for her a daily act, a vital pulsation. From 2010 to 2018, she produced the “every day” series, a set of 3285 daily drawings. For more info: go to my website www.annedevillele.fr Drawing has always been her favorite medium: she mixes organic and biological subjects and plant forms. Anne draws a multitude of lines finely laid side by side, forming a veil, a fabric, a fiber thrown over the color to give life and flesh to the drawing. With ceramics, Anne leaves the sheet to play with volume, space, sculpture. Porcelain and stoneware become under his fingers potbellied shapes or viscera piled up like rings. In addition, it offers ceramic courses for all levels. Embroidery also offers him a way to transpose his drawings onto well-known everyday objects, such as handkerchiefs or dishcloths. Anne de Villèle is a graduate of the National School of Arts of Paris-Cergy. His workshop is open all year round. Contact her to know the opening hours of her workshop or to make an appointment, she will be happy to present her creations to you.
