Dalva is 12 years old, but dresses, puts on makeup and lives like a woman. One evening, she is suddenly removed from her father's home. At first revolted and completely incomprehensible, she will meet Jayden, an educator, and Samia, a teenager with a strong character. A new life then seems to offer itself to Dalva, that of a young girl of her age. This is the first feature film by Belgian director and screenwriter Emmanuelle Nicot, who was inspired by a center for abused children that she visited in the west of France. The film tackles a subject that is strong, dark and interesting at the same time. The film will be followed by a discussion with Pascale Jaouen, former family affairs judge. Pascale Jaouen started as a lawyer for 20 years and was one of the first lawyers for women and children. During her career, she worked as a family affairs judge in Vannes in particular and presided over the Bastia district court.
