Glaz Linogravure - Morgane Chouin

GLAZ, blue in Breton… Morgane Chouin's blue imagination is usually expressed in urban landscapes or the seaside. For Digitales, she produced a series of engravings by hand specifically inspired by our local heritage. Starting from the origin of the name Questembert (chestnut tree in Breton), his first engraving features blackbirds and chestnut trees. Plant and feathered species from the surrounding area will be a source of inspiration for this original exhibition! “My linoleum plate, once engraved, becomes a singular matrix from which I can draw several impressions. Entirely artisanal, I limit my production to a few prints. Each print is unique, with differences in inking that highlight or tone down certain details. Morgane Chouin.
