Chef Kevin Hardy and his team welcome you to L'Ancolie, a gourmet restaurant in a beautiful 16th century building, located in the character town of Rochefort-en-Terre. It offers modern, innovative and tasty French cuisine prepared with fresh regional and seasonal products in a warm and intimate setting. The Chef is committed to sublimating and highlighting the flavors of his products. The menu evolves with the rhythms of the seasons, the land and the sea. AN EXCEPTIONAL COURSE: Chef Kévin Hardy trained alongside chef Jean-Marc Chandouineau, at the restaurant Chandouineau, an institution in Redon. He takes part in the competition for the Best Apprentice Chef in France. Automatically selected for the department because of an exceptional average, he became, in Pontivy, one of the two Breton representatives in the Lyon semi-final. He finished among the best and qualified for the Parisian final, at the Jean-Ferrandi School of French Cuisine (XIV). He obtained sixth place in the National Competition for the Best Apprentice Chef in France, promotion Bernard Vaussion. He then joined the famous Michelin-starred restaurant Le Taillevent in Paris (2 stars), which has embodied all the prestige of haute cuisine for decades. Then Kevin Hardy joined the famous restaurant "The Connaught" in London, awarded a prestigious third Michelin star in 2021. This famous establishment is run by Hélène Darroze named "Best Woman Chef in the World" in 2015. After three years spent in this famous institution, Kévin Hardy opens his restaurant "l'Ancolie" in June 2022 in the heart of Rochefort-en-Terre. You can enjoy two à la carte menus, we invite you to consult the restaurant's website (link on the right of this sheet) to discover them. They adapt the menus according to the appetites and allergies of their customers. Possibility of adapted menus for groups. Dogs on a leash are accepted. Languages spoken: French, English (understanding Spanish, Japanese) The restaurant is open on public holidays.
