His warm voice filled with emotions will conquer the public but also the jury which will award him the 1st price. Today he is performing with Nantes guitarist Erwan Le Fichant. The duo offers a colorful repertoire combining Blues and Folk, with ragtime and country accents, and interprets with passion and complicity texts borrowed from the most talented “bluesmen” and “songwriters” from the 1920s to the present day. From the crisis of '29 to today, from the Mississippi delta of the 1920s to the banks of the Loire in 2017, the tone and feeling remain the same. From the popular Blues tradition to Folk song, singing about discomfort, sorrows and hope, Alex de Vree and Erwan Le Fichant tell life stories, between injustice, pleasures and suffering, but with a current spirit. to today's reality.
