Mô'ti Tëi is Antoine Bencharif's unique and sincere project. Alone with his guitar and his powerful, heartbreaking voice, the singer-songwriter lays himself bare, convinced that he has something to say and defend. Between Folk-Rock, Country, and Blues, Mô'ti Tëi's music is intimate yet committed, combative, refusing any fatality. From his voice emerges a sensitivity on edge, guided by refined arrangements and evocative and poetic lyrics with Anglo-Saxon sounds. Influenced by artists like Devendra Banhardt and Bob Dylan, bluegrass guitarists like Jack Rose and Robert Johnson, the musician immerses us, like a road movie, in the wide open spaces of the American West where a wind of freedom blows.
