The “Arts and culture Chapelle Saint-Michel” association, in partnership with the Questembert heritage association, which provides tours, opens the doors of the Saint-Michel chapel every Wednesday in July and August. Come and discover this superb chapel, classified as a Historic Monument. It was built around 1440 during the reign of the Duke of Brittany François 1st, on the supposed place where St Vincent Ferrier preached on March 3, 1418 during his visit to Questembert. It houses a beautiful series of polychrome wooden statues from the 16th century. It was restored in 2007/2008 and is open to the public on an occasional basis (concerts, thematic days, etc.). A beautiful historic cross with panels from the 16th and 17th centuries, itself classified as a Historic Monument, adjoins the building. A remarkable and protected tree - a large yew several hundred years old (over 500 years old) - stands in front of the west gate.
