The "Arts and Culture Chapelle Saint-Michel" association, in partnership with the Questembert Heritage Association, which provides tours, opens the doors of the Saint-Michel chapel every Wednesday in July and August. Come and discover this superb chapel, listed as a Historic Monument. It was built around 1440 during the reign of the Duke of Brittany, François I, on the supposed spot where St. Vincent Ferrier preached on March 3, 1418, during his visit to Questembert. It houses a beautiful series of polychrome wooden statues from the 16th century. It was restored in 2007/2008 and is open to the public occasionally (concerts, theme days, etc.). This summer, come and discover the 5 restored statues from the Bodan chapel, another chapel in Questembert. A beautiful historiated cross with panels from the 16th and 17th centuries, itself listed as a Historic Monument, is located next to the building. A remarkable and protected tree - a large yew tree several hundred years old (over 500 years old) - stands in front of the west gate.
