A silent dialogue is created between them across space. David died at sea and she is expecting a child from him. "The shore is the boundary zone between dry land and water, without precise boundaries being defined. RIVAGE speaks of this in-between, between life and death, where the boundaries are porous. It speaks of the bond that remains between Eva and David, her partner who died accidentally at sea, but also of the bond that is created between her and the child she carries from him. Eva finds herself between the two, torn between the joy of giving life and the sadness of loss. At the end of a grieving process, she chooses life, sublimating her pain through dance. » A few words about Lisa Fuchs: Lisa Fuchs directed her first short film LE CRI, as part of a baccalaureate in cinema, where dance was already an element of her cinematographic language. Trained at the Pôle National Supérieur de Danse Rosella Hightower (Cannes) and with Dominique Khalfouni (Danseuse Étoile de l'Opéra National de Paris), she initially worked as a choreographer-dancer and founded her own company (Cie Lisa Fuchs), before devoting herself to cinema. In 2013, she directed and choreographed the short film 1 X 2 = 3, selected for the Athens Vidéo Dance Project (Greece), the Great Lakes International Film Festival (USA) and the Court c'est Court / Cinambule festival (France). In 2020, she wrote, directed, choreographed and produced the medium-length film RIVAGE with the association Format Soleil. This film received the award for best experimental dance film at the Richmond International Film Festival, the "Jury's Stellar Awards" in the fiction category at the Thomas Edison Film Festival, the award for best experimental film at the Near Nazareth Festival, and was selected out of competition by the Les Capucines du Cinéma Français festival. She is currently working on writing a feature-length fiction film.
