Compagnie Sentimentale Foule Spectacle-Exposition Vierges maudites! is a show that combines storytelling and embroidery to retrace the Arthurian legend of Elaine d'Astolat. A "virgin of the lily" sets out to conquer a nameless Knight. Her quest is represented on stage by large embroideries: a geographical map and a giant game of the goose. Playing between true and false, Inès Cassigneul also tells how she herself rediscovered the legend and its rewritings, and why she decided to embroider...
