The Château is organized around a courtyard of honor including parts built one at the latest in the 15th century, another in the 16th century, then another in the 17th century and finally one in the 19th century. The visit of the exteriors (paths and lawns) is free (without a guide). Visitors are given: - a history of the inhabitants of the château of LA GRATIONNAYE and the capture of Rochefort-en-Terre by the Chouans on March 16, 1793 - a detailed map on which appear explanations corresponding to these various buildings such as the guardhouse.
