Visitors are given a map referring to small panels located around the property, describing the architecture, mentioning the builders, construction dates, and other information. They also receive another document recounting events related to La Grationnaye. The Château is organized around a courtyard, comprising sections built no later than the 15th century, another in the 16th century, another in the 17th century, and finally one in the 19th century. The grounds (paths and lawns) can be visited independently (without a guide). Open every day except Saturday; see opening hours below. Visitors receive: - a history of the inhabitants of the Château de La Grationnaye and the capture of Rochefort-en-Terre by the Chouans on March 16, 1793 - a detailed map with explanations of the various buildings, such as the guardhouse.
