Recommendations: pair of boots (high-heeled shoes prohibited!) and warm clothes (for the visit of the meadows) The Folaisons farm is located in Pluherlin, between Vannes, Redon and Ploërmel, in the small Arz valley and within the Landes de Lanvaux. This former seigneury and then farmhouse has been in operation since the 15th century. Mainly dairy cow breeding for the past few decades, the Folaisons farm is a collective farm created on April 1, 2022 by 5 partners: Manon, Etienne, Maëla, Yoann and Camille. 2 employees and an apprentice complete the team. On January 1, 2026, the team is expanding, 3 new partners will join the farm: Sara, Josphh and Cyprien. The 80 hectares exploited by the farm are mainly composed of meadows, natural and temporary, but also around ten hectares of wheat and cereal mix, and 4000m² of diversified market gardening. We raise a herd of 40 dairy cows of crossbred Prim Holstein, Montbéliarde, Brunes des Alpes, Bretonnes Pie Noire and Normandes. We also raise a herd of Lacaune dairy ewes. We produce a variety of vegetables, raw cow's and sheep's milk cheeses, yogurts, sourdough bread, as well as veal, beef, lamb, and mutton.
