Rochefort-en-Terre Heritage Tour

Wind your way through the narrow streets of Rochefort-en-Terre, discover the history of the area and listen to local residents tell you about their memories (but it’s only in french). This Heritage Tour was created in 2023-2024 on the initiative of the municipality of Rochefort-en-Terre in partnership with the Tourist Office and with the support of the Brittany Region, as part of the project “Exceptional natural and cultural sites”.

Through old postcards, testimonials and stories, the 900 years of this small town of character are told.

Who better to tell the story of their city than the people of Rochefort themselves? As you stroll through the streets of Rochefort-en-Terre, scanning one of the QR codes, you’ll have the opportunity to listen to the words of the inhabitants of Rochefort-en-Terre (only in french).

These testimonials were collected by Plum’Fm radio, at the end of “Mémoires de Vi(ll)es” (life memories), a project run by the Petites Cités de Caractère de Bretagne and the Coordination des Radio Locales et Associatives de Bretagne (Corlab), with the support of the DRAC.
