Saute Ruisseaux

Nature outings and workshops

“Unusual and friendly walks”

Saute Ruisseaux is the adventure of two women, imbued with ecological sensitivity and concerned with transmitting: Sophie and Melanie. Their goal: to make you discover the great and small wonders of the unsuspected worlds of natural and built heritage. Tall year long, they offer you to participate in workshops and nature walks…

"Sophie and Melanie"

Sophie Pontgélard: holds a Master's degree in "Environment and sustainable development of the environment" and a BAFA mention Itinerant Camp and Hiking. She has a little more than 15 years of experience in education by and for the environment and territory, in France and abroad.
Mélanie Le Glaunec: her BTS AGTL in her pocket, learned in total autodidact what she knows today. Both of them regularly follow trainings to enrich their suitcases. The association is based on a collegial approach with 12 co-presidents with a referent for each project. They are the only ones who are salaried.

Environmental education association

Go on an adventure with a nature animator

The association “Saute Ruisseaux“, born in 2016, comes from a desire to create a local discovery and to get back into the field. After 15 years of experience as a project manager in the environment, Sophie had the desire to move forward and discover this theme to the general public through nature outings on topics as varied as fauna, flora, geology.
Melanie, former guide of the Office of Tourism, joined Sophie in 2019. She was already invested in the co-presidency of the structure and knows the country well for having grown up there. She wanted to show the natural riches that the Pays de Questembert offers.

The association aims to create links between Man and the environment; to open spaces of discovery, exchanges, meetings, experiments in order to involve individuals in our society and to move towards a solidary and creative future!

Discovering nature

and heritage

For all ages

The walks and workshops offered by Saute Ruisseaux are aimed at several audiences: schools, early childhood professionals, constituted groups (with family, friends, works council, leisure centers…) as well as the general public (tourists and locals). All will find their happiness!”

From the youngest age (with the awakening to nature for 0-3 years), the toddlers learn to feel good in nature, discover it to naturally protect it. The school public will be able to live an experience “d’Ecole des Bois”, occasional nature workshops or live a stay in their community. For the general public (tourists or locals), the objective is to spend time in nature, to (re)-discover natural areas using their 5 senses.

Themed walks

for all

The association offers themed walks

  • discovery walks (soils and landscapes, the tree in all its states, savages of my street, discovery of the fauna and flora of a natural space…
  • evasion walks (reading walk, sunrise walk, stories and botany …)
  • creative walks (workshops plant prints, know-how walk, land’art walk …)
  • game walks (escapes beautiful, games tracks …)

  • knife permits for children from 7 years old
  • interventions in structures, adapted to each project (social centers, ALSH, early childhood…)
  • accompaniments of stays

The association is labeled “Valeurs Parc Naturel Régional“; Sophie and Melanie take you on Espaces Naturels Sensibles for unusual nature outings. Saute Ruisseaux also has “National Education” and “Youth and Popular Education” approvals.
