Saint James of Compostela

A life’s journey, whether alone or with a partner… Whether it be religious, cultural, sporting, historical or otherwise… Setting off from home or from one of the historic routes…
Starting from Pointe St Mathieu in Finistère, a Way of St James passes through Questembert. Meanwhile, another route starting from Beauport Abbey stops off at Rochefort-en-Terre.

The association

The Breton Association of Friends of Santiago de Compostela has identified, restored and signposted the Way of St James routes in Brittany.

With seven starting points in Brittany, the St James’s Ways cover the whole of Brittany, with some passing through the towns of Questembert, Rochefort-en-Terre and Malansac.

Several towns and villages are listed as stop-off points in the association’s guidebooks.
