From Friday, November 29, 2024 to Sunday, January 5, 2025 inclusive, Rochefort-en-Terre, elected Wonderful Christmas Village, will put on its clothes of lights for the greatest happiness of young and old.

The Small Town of Charater will be illuminated every evening at dusk, a magical walk starting at 5:30 pm. More info on hours, access and parking.

Wander through the village’s cobblestone streets and alleys shimmering with a thousand lights thanks to the many garlands, stalactites and other curtains of light.

At the time of Advent, the village is embellished with illuminations and wonderful decorations. From the first light of the evening, lights, garlands, illuminated trees match marvelously with the beauty of the exceptional heritage of Rochefort-en-Terre, to offer you the most beautiful scenery! Find here the magical atmosphere of the Christmas markets.

You will be able to admire on the squares and in the alleys superb Christmas cribs, set up by the craftsmen and shopkeepers of the village. Who knows, maybe you will cross paths with Santa Claus or Mother Christmas under light snowflakes…

A magical evening!

Too much fun on this walk to Rochefort-en-Terre with dad, mom and my little sister. I saw lights everywhere and super well decorated trees, plus I ate a delicious sugar pancake. I even saw Santa’s mailbox. I have to come back very soon with grandma and grandpa, this time I won’t forget my gift list to mail it!
