Building an insect hotel is a simple yet valuable way to protect these essential allies of biodiversity. From 2 pm to 5:30 pm. Meet in front of the guinguette chalet (closed to the public for the occasion). Free collaborative workshop, open to all children aged 5 to 10. Registration required at 06 60 42 49 51. We invite you to learn how to create a shelter suitable for insects while discovering their role in nature and the threats they face. You will learn to build a functional insect hotel and contribute concretely to the preservation of biodiversity. Through this project, you will become an active participant in restoring the micro-habitats essential to many species. The program includes: In the early afternoon, we will search for the natural materials needed to build the shelters: logs, bricks, straw, bamboo stalks, etc. Afterwards, we will share a snack that everyone has brought. Then, we'll build the insect hotel with the materials we've collected. By the end of the afternoon, you'll have all the tools you need to create your own insect hotel at home, in your garden. ------------ The community-run open-air café is open from May to early September: Hours: Thursday (5 pm – 9 pm): Afternoon snack or dinner by the pond (Galettes, crêpes & ice cream) Friday (5 pm – 11 pm): Concerts all summer long under the lanterns (Homemade fries, sausages, falafels & ice cream) Sunday (11 am – 9 pm NON-STOP): Relaxing day with musical entertainment and various themes (Galettes, crêpes & ice cream).
