Synopsis: Fatah, a small Algerian farmer, has eyes only for his cow Jacqueline, whom he dreams of taking to Paris for the Agricultural Show. When he receives the coveted invitation in front of his astonished village, this man who has never left his countryside boards a ship bound for Marseille to cross all of France on foot, heading for the Porte de Versailles.
