Organised by the firefly workshop to launch its new season.
To launch its new season, the association L'atelier des lucioles welcomes the instrumental ensemble "La Follia Fantasia" for a concert in the St. Cyr-St. Julite Church in Molac. On the program: Renaissance, Baroque, and Celtic folk music, as well as Byzantine Marian works! The ensemble "La Follia Fantasia" was formed 20 years ago from the friendship between Marie-Claude and Marie-Éline, teachers at the same schools. The group has since grown through chance encounters, friendships, and shared musical affinities. Violin: Gor Grygorian, First Prize winner at the Yerevan Conservatory (Armenia). Cello: Marie-Claude Cauwel, cello teacher. Marie-Claude Cauwel studied cello at the Rennes Conservatory. Cello for 30 years in Mayenne, member of the "Cellimaine" cello ensemble. Guitar: Jean-Luc Habert and Marie-Éline Guihaire, classical guitar teachers. Jean-Luc Habert, a doctor, used to take his guitar to the emergency room at Laval Hospital when he was on duty… Marie-Éline Guihaire studied at the Algiers Conservatory and then with Elisabeth Presti-Lagoya, and taught classical guitar for 30 years in Mayenne. Percussion: Alain Duchemin (sound, artistic advisor). Alain Duchemin, also a sound engineer, was Artistic Director at France Musique. Admission: This concert is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, with a suggested price of €10 for adults. You are free to contribute more or less.
