The village of La Clarté is celebrating!
On the program: FRIDAY, AUGUST 14: 7:30 p.m.: Musical and festive meal with the band Léopard Café. Menu at €8: Sausage or grilled bacon, potato, salad, cheese, and a crêpe. FIREWORKS CANCELLED: Due to drought conditions and the risk of fire, the Chapel of La Clarté Restoration Committee has decided to cancel the fireworks display scheduled for August 14 as a safety precaution. Thank you for your understanding. The rest of the festivities will still take place. - SATURDAY, AUGUST 15: 10:30 a.m.: Procession 11:00 a.m.: Mass 12:30 p.m.: Breton meal served at tables. On the menu: kir, soup, salt beef, stew, cheese, far (a type of Breton flan), and coffee (adults: €17, children under 12: €8). Afternoon: numerous activities around the chapel: wooden games, bread baking in a wood-fired oven, vintage tractors, the "Korollerion Bro Sine" dance group, and a guided tour of the chapel... 7:00 PM: Fricassee (a traditional Breton stew).
