Description
Bread baked in a wood fire, traditional threshing, cider making, Breton games, local crafts and traditional dances... a journey through time to the heart of the skills of yesteryear.
From 2 pm onwards, enjoy activities such as bread making, baking in the ovens, threshing, cider making, an exhibition of antique equipment, Breton games, a craft market, and Breton dancing. This year again, the star of the festival remains the traditional bread-making and baking in the historic ovens. Every year, several hundred loaves are shaped, baked, and sold on site. A workshop introducing children to kneading and baking will be offered. Refreshments and light meals will be available (galettes, sausages, fries, etc.). Organized by the Bread Festival Committee. For 30 years, the committee has worked to preserve rural heritage with agricultural machinery, exhibited at each event, as well as clothing, costumes, and headdresses.
