Description
As part of the La Lune Rousse Festival.
Hatiao Club takes place in Brittany. Azou, a grandmother of a thousand faces, dies at the right age, just as she wished. The day before her funeral, her three grandchildren discover, in her house, the extraordinary life of their grandmother and this place brimming with curiosity and secrets: the Hatiao Club! This theatrical and musical fiction, written based on testimonies, reflects, with great humor and touching delicacy, people's thoughts and attachments to their place, their home. And also the touch of (philosophical?) madness that some of us retain until the very end. Adept at hybrid forms, the La Levée company blends poetry, fantasy, buttered toast, music, and song with equal ease.
