Description
The open-air café puts Breton culture in the spotlight!
During this day, we will be showcasing Breton culture and its traditional music with a concert by GOUSTADIG and an introduction to Breton dance. GOUSTADIG means "gently" or "tranquil" in Breton. They offer dances from Upper and Lower Brittany, as well as a selection of music to listen to, including Irish melodies, Eastern European tunes, and folk repertoire. For their performance in Kercabiron, they will be joined by the duo CHRISTINE and SERGE. They will introduce you to Breton dances, putting both young and old at ease through a festive approach. The duo also performs traditional songs with humorously reimagined lyrics. Please remember to bring some change for the artists' hat! Of course, galettes and crêpes will be available, accompanied by cider or artisanal apple juice. Local drinks and food will be available on site all day: galettes, crêpes, and ice cream. The community-run open-air café is open from May to early September: Hours: Thursday (5 pm – 9 pm): Afternoon snack or dinner by the pond (Galettes, crêpes & ice cream) Friday (5 pm – 11 pm): Concerts all summer long under the lanterns (Homemade fries, sausages, falafels & ice cream) Sunday (11 am – 9 pm NON-STOP): Relaxing day with musical entertainment and various themes (Galettes, crêpes & ice cream).
