For the Municipal Biodiversity Atlas (ABC), come and discover the richness of Questembert's natural environments during a friendly, fun, and accessible day for everyone. Walks, observations, games, tree climbing, discovering local flora and fauna, workshops for children… Numerous activities will help you better understand the biodiversity around us and how the wetland functions. ALL DAY LONG: From 10 am to 4 pm, several stands and activities are freely accessible and available throughout the day: - The main ABC stand - A nature area for children - Tree climbing: Get a bird's-eye view by climbing a magnificent beech tree, accompanied by Arbonambulles. From age 3 – 8 people at a time. - Nature safari with the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) - La Truite Questembergeoise (The Questembert Trout) invites you to discover the heritage management of waterways and the reproductive cycle of several fish species. - Birdie Memory: Can you identify birds by their songs? SCHEDULES: - 10:30 am: Discovering the Wetland A guided tour to discover the ecological functions of the wetland, understand the restoration work carried out on the site, and better grasp its benefits for biodiversity. Duration: 1.5 hours • 15 people • Open to all - 10:45 am: Plant Walk with "Des Graines et des Brouettes" A walk to discover local plants, learn to identify them, and learn about their characteristics and uses. Follow the otter's tracks and discover its environment through an activity specially designed for children. Duration: 45 min • Ages 4 to 12 • 24 places - 11:15 am: The Little Creatures of the Water with "La Pousse Verte" (The Green Growth). Set off in search of the little creatures that inhabit aquatic environments. Some larvae are true indicators of water quality: learn to observe them and find those that, once they become adults, continue their lives on land. Duration: 1 hour - 12:30 pm: Group picnic. A friendly moment to have lunch together in the heart of the site. Bring your own picnic lunch! - 1:30 pm: The Little Creatures of the Water with "La Pousse Verte". A new exploration of aquatic environments in search of larvae that indicate water quality and species that have migrated to terrestrial environments as adults. Duration: 1 hour - 2:00 PM: On the Otter Trail with Saute Ruisseaux. Second departure of the day to follow the otter's tracks and discover its environment. Duration: 45 minutes • Ages 4 to 12 • 24 places - 2:30 PM: Discovering the Wetland with OFB & EPTB Eaux & Vilaine. Second guided tour focusing on the ecological functions of the wetland and the restoration work carried out on the site. Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes • 15 people • All ages - 4:15 PM: Reading Aloud. Let's gather for a moment of reflection with a reading aloud presented by the company Le Bastion de l'Âme. Duration: approximately 20 minutes - 4:40 PM: Official Remarks & Afternoon Tea. Speeches by elected officials, followed by a friendly afternoon tea to conclude this day dedicated to biodiversity.
