Animation organized as part of the national event “The Day of the Night”
The "Let's Relight the Stars" photo exhibition is being organized by the municipality of Lauzach. The municipality has also decided to participate in the lights-out initiative: all streetlights and lampposts will be exceptionally switched off this Saturday evening, October 10th. "Night Day" is a national campaign to raise awareness about light pollution and the protection of nocturnal biodiversity and the starry sky. Coordinated by Agir pour l'Environnement (Act for the Environment) and supported by numerous national partners, "Night Day" is an opportunity to observe the sky and rediscover our relationship with the night through the hundreds of light-outs and awareness-raising activities that take place during one evening each year. Together, let's celebrate the dark night and the starry sky! You can also take action: turn off your outdoor lights and put away your solar lights for the occasion!
