An American flautist with a prestigious resume meets a multi-award-winning French organist. Their repertoire is varied, ranging from Baroque to contemporary music. Paula Thomas is originally from Northern California. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and has won several first prizes in flute and chamber music in France. Emmanuel Hocdé is the organist at the Church of Saint-Eloi in Paris's 12th arrondissement. Organ teaching is central to his career. He has recorded several CDs and has won numerous first prizes, including the Jean-Sébastien Bach Prize at the Chartres International Organ Competition. After meeting in 2022, they decided to perform together in several music festivals and concert series. This summer, they are touring throughout France and will be stopping in Questembert to allow marketgoers to enjoy their talent. Admission is free for the duration of the concert.
