Description
Screening of the film "The living who defends himself" at the Kercabiron open-air café.
Open from 5 pm to 11 pm. Screening of the film "The Living That Defends Itself" around 8:30 pm (as soon as night falls). Directed by Vincent Verzat and produced by Partager c'est Sympa, this 90-minute documentary immerses us in 10 years of environmental activism in France. Through a personal and sensitive narrative, the film explores the director's journey between activism and naturalism, and poses a central question: how to find a balance between struggle and contemplation in a changing world? "The Living That Defends Itself" invites us to reflect on our place within the living world and to imagine paths to living with dignity in the face of future challenges. After the screening: film discussion. An open exchange around the film's themes: ecology, commitment, resilience, and collective hope. On site: Refreshments and food available at the community-run outdoor café. Homemade fries, sausages, falafel, and ice cream. Local products. You are welcome to arrive before 8:30 pm to enjoy the grounds: a stroll around the pond, springs, small woods, community garden, and mini educational farm.
