“The Nest” is a timeless escape. A completely floating cabin, nestled in the heart of nature, where you can truly slow down. Here, there are no roads, no noise—just birdsong, the wind in the trees, and the reflections of the sky on the water. Situated on the 16th-century mill pond, surrounded by forest and bordered by a medieval dike, the cabin invites you to live simply, differently, closer to nature. Comfort, nature-inspired. Inside, you'll find the essentials for a cozy stay: - a dry toilet in the cabin - a 10L water tank for the indoor tap - lighting provided by a solar panel (lights only). For showering, a bathroom on the dock is accessible by boat. The outdoor jacuzzi, also located on the dock, is reserved for you for one hour per night, for a relaxing moment overlooking the pond. Little pleasures. In the morning, breakfast is delivered directly to your cabin. Basic Package (included): bread, butter, jam, hot drink. Gourmet Package (€12/person): bread, homemade pancakes, jam, butter, fromage blanc, fresh fruit, dried fruit, maple syrup, fruit juice, cereal, muesli. Want to stay and enjoy the surroundings without leaving? Homemade meal available as an option (€24/person), prepared with local and seasonal products. Around you: From the mill, set off on beautiful walks in the forest, observe the wildlife, follow the paths along the water, or explore the historic dam. Each hour of the day offers a different light and atmosphere. “Le Nid” is one of two floating cabins discreetly installed on the pond, each designed as an intimate retreat for experiencing your own nature adventure.
