After Daniel CARIO, guest of honor at the 1st fair two years ago (Breton Writers' Novel Prize 2015, City of Carhaix Prize 2016 and Elven Popular Novel Prize, 2018), after Nathalie de Broc, guest of honor last year (Breton Writers Prize 2009, Elven Popular Novel Prize 2021), the 2023 Book Fair will have the pleasure and honor of welcoming Hervé Bellec. Hervé Bellec is a very prolific and very eclectic writer: he's a jack of all trades! Musician in the satirical and humorous group "Fernand l'Eclair", then bistro owner before making a career as a history-geography teacher in a Brest high school. Hervé received the Tristan Corbière Prize and the Breton Writers Prize for his novel "La nuit blanche" in 2006 and - in 2021 - the much sought-after prize from the city of Vannes awarded to the novel "Lulu, tout simples". Hervé Bellec will give a conference the day before the show – Saturday October 14 at 4 p.m. – in the “Le Verger” room. Theme of this conference: "Terroir, history and heritage, good ingredients for a good book?" The conference will be followed by a signing session. Compulsory registration with the Berric media library.
