The new documentary film by Dominique Marchais “La Rivière” will be presented at the Iris cinema accompanied by Camille Lotteau, editor of the film. He participated in all of Dominique Marchais' films, a collaboration in several facets, sound engineer for “Le temps des graces” in 2010, assistant director for “Nul homme n'est une île” in 2018 and editor for “La rivière” in 2023. A collaboration rich in skills has been built between the two film buffs. The feature film “The River” received the Jean-Vigo Prize in 2023 for the independence of its spirit and the quality of its production. Summary: Between the Pyrenees and the Atlantic flow powerful rivers called Gaves. Corn fields make them thirsty, dams block the movement of salmon.
