But to be entitled to this title, Kiki must serve her apprenticeship: she must leave her family for a year and prove to them that she can live completely independently in a city of her choice. One fine evening, accompanied by her cat Jiji, after kissing her parents and her grandmother, she gets on her broom and heads south “to see the sea”… The next day, she lands in a nice coastal town. This is where she will learn alongside Osono, a kind baker who offers her a job as a delivery girl... ▪️ Arrietty the little world of thieves: In the suburbs of Tokyo, under the floor of an old house lost in At the heart of a large garden, tiny Arrietty lives in secret with her family. They are Thieves. Arrietty knows the rules: you only borrow what you need, in such small quantities that the people in the house don't notice. More importantly, we are wary of cats and rats, and absolutely forbidden to be seen by humans under penalty of being forced to move. Arrietty knows all this. Yet when a young boy, Sho, arrives home to rest before a serious operation, she senses that everything will be different. Between the young girl and the man she sees as a giant, a friendship develops that no one will be able to forget...
