The Menhirs of Monteneuf, located in the heart of the Landes de Monteneuf Regional Nature Reserve, is a megalithic site comprising more than 500 menhirs, 42 of which are upright. This exceptional place, which today is still the subject of archaeological research, listed as "historical monuments", is offered to visitors through numerous activities and events. To experience the Neolithic, participatory, immersive and educational workshops are offered by archeology mediators during school holidays, to learn about the gestures of our distant ancestors or even walk in the footsteps of archaeologists. Throughout the year, an interpretation trail allows you to discover the site through three reconstruction areas: the Neolithic village, the menhir site and the archaeological research area. Reservation only online.
